Wonder Lake Learning Center
Our School-Age Program serves children from kindergarten through 13 years of age in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. We strive to promote respect for self and others while encouraging responsibility, independence, positive social skills, and teamwork.
We provide a variety of developmentally appropriate activities that support children's growth and interests, including arts and crafts, self-directed play, dramatic play, indoor and outdoor physical activities, STEM exploration, games, reading, and quiet time. We also offer a welcoming space where homework, continued learning, and creative expression are encouraged.
As children grow, we support their developing independence, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills. Our program encourages children to understand the relationship between cause and effect, communicate their thoughts and feelings effectively, build healthy friendships, and develop confidence through new experiences. Physical development is fostered through active play, organized games, and sports that help children strengthen coordination and motor skills.
We believe that promoting positive mental health, resilience, and self-confidence is essential to helping children thrive both in and out of the classroom.
